KAGAME IS FINISHED — THE LATEST REVIEWS FROM THE WORLD BANK AND THE IMF ARE DISMAL

Kagame’s disturbed look exposes cracks in his controlled façade. This is the face of a dictator under pressure — Kagame unmasked.
This is the face of fear — Kagame glimpses a world he no longer controls.
Not the composed dictator they show on TV— Kagame seen shaken and off balance.

The World Bank’s Rwanda’s overview last updated on April 04, 2025, reveals the mountain of severe developmental challenges facing the country including:

— The creation of jobs in Rwanda is insufficient and the level of productivity remains low;

— This reflects infrastructure gaps, limited progress in innovation, and sub-optimal allocative efficiency.

— The momentum in poverty reduction has weakened in recent years.

— The benefits of structural transformation have tended to accrue to more educated workers, worsening inequality.

— The World Bank’s Human Capital Index places Rwanda at 160th out of 174 countries. Human capital refers to knowledge, skills, and good health which empowers people to achieve their potential and drives economic growth. At 160th out of 174 countries, Rwanda is an utter disaster.

The World Bank argues that overcoming these challenges “will require greater reliance on private sector investment to enhance productivity growth, raise incomes, and provide the financing to address infrastructure shortfalls.” But Kagame has effectively destroyed the private sector, to enable and empower his ruling party’s business empire, Crystal Ventures, which controls everything from finance, construction, real estate, aviation, security, agro-processing and the manufacture of building materials.

Stay tuned.
